Kabul (BNA) President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani said yesterday that the energy of youth motivate us to move ahead with confidence.
The president made the remarks at the conference on “Jirga for Justice and supporting Change and Reforms” in Arg which attended by large number of youths from different provinces.
Lauding the role of youth in implementing the government’s programs, the president pointed out, “You, the youth of the country are the hope of nation and your energy motivates us to move ahead towards achieving a united and prosperous Afghanistan.”
Rendering sacrifices of the youth in the ranks of security forces is commendable, the president said.
Describing the change and bringing reforms as the demand of all Afghans, the president noted that 5 billion Afghanis have been saved in the contract of a ministry.
He also added that the wealth of the country has been looted and the grabbed lands should be regained from the land grabbers.
The president also called upon youth to join the government in fighting corruption.
With regard to peace process, the president added that we want peace, an honorable peace based on the constitution and Islamic values.
He also called upon the youth to prepare a specific mechanism including their suggests and proposals.
The cabinet and provincial governors would soon present their 100-day working plans and the youth can review their achievements, the president said.
