NATO should offer Documents on Former Defense ministry’s in-charges Embezzlement

Kabul (BNA) The NATO command did not provide documents of witnesses in connection with the corruption of former leading body of Sardar Mohammad Daud Khan Hospital and the air force.  In the judiciary meeting chaired by Hamid Karzai, discussions took place on suspicion of former defense ministry in charges.  At the meeting Chief Justice Acting Chairman of Supreme Court, ministers of defense and Justice, national security advisor, attorney general, head of the high administration for struggle against corruption, legal advisor of the presidential office and heads of inspection and control department, had participated.  The meeting discussed the case of embezzlement at the Sardar Mohammad Daud Khan Hospital by the leading body of that hospital and the air force command.  The meeting debated the allegations of the NATO command in this connection and after assessment, it was concluded that there has been reliable documents by the NATO command in this respect and it was decided that the case should be followed up with the NATO command and if there is documents or witnesses it should be referred to the attorney general office so it can be followed up.  It is said that some international media quoting the NATO command had released reports in connection with $42 million corruption in terms of medical equipment at the hospital.
