140 Taliban Militants Rebels Killed And Wounded In Sar-e-Pul

Sar-e-Pul City (BNA) Nearly 80 Taliban insurgents were killed, 60 were wounded and ten others including two foreign were arrested following join clearing operations launched by Afghan security forces in northern Sar-e-Pul province.
Col. Enayatullah Habibi security director and acting security commander of Sar-e-Pul said BNA correspondent, the operations have been conducted to ensure peace and stability in relevant areas of Sozma Qala, Sancharak, Sayad districts and Sar-e-Pul city the provincial capital of the province during the current year.
He added, 20 Taliban rebels were joint peace process with their hand weapons during the operations as well.
Also following the military operations several villages have been cleared from existence of armed oppositions, Habibi concluded.
