Lashkargah (BNA) Taliban shadow governor for Sangeen District, Helmand province with his five colleagues was killed in an air strike.
Mullah Shafiullah, known as Mawlawi Nazim, was attacked by the country’s air force in the suburbs of Sangeen district bazaar yesterday when he was engaged terrorist activities.
The Maiwand Corps in the southwest of the country said in a news release that Mullah Shafiullah, the shadow governor of Taliban for Sangeen district Helmand, wanted to plan attacks on checkpoints, which were targeted by security forces air strike.
The Army Corps said that Mullah Shafiullah, known as Mawlawi Nazim, and five other Taliban were killed and four Taliban were wounded in the airstrike.
