Kabul (BNA) National and defense forces conducting joined clearing operations in different parts of the country, killed 48 insurgents, wounded 29 and detained 4 others.
According to defense ministry press office to BNA, the operations with support of air and artillery forces launched in Nangarhar, Laghman, Kapisa, Paktia, Paktika, Logar, Kandahar, Urozgan, Balkh, Faryab and Helmand provinces.
Likewise, the national defense ministry said they launched 14 other clearing operations in 11 provinces of the country with support of air forces to annihilate armed insurgents and inflected heavy damages to hideouts of the enemy.
