Air Raid Leaves 17 Rebels Dead in Kunduz

Kabul (BNA) As many as 17 anti-government militias were killed during air attack carried out by Afghan air forces in northeastern Kunduz province yesterday.

Abdul Hadi Nazari spokesperson of 217 Pamir army corps told BNA correspondent, the insurgents have been targeted by Afghan air forces in relevant areas of Imam Sahib District of the province.

More than 15 fighters of Taliban were wounded and a vehicle along with some weapons have been destroyed during the air attack as well, Nazari added.

Meanwhile, five militants were killed and seven others were wounded following attacks conducted by Afghan security forces in Staming region, Imam Sahib district of Kunduz province.
