Kabul (BNA) President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani and president of the Republic of Azerbaijan IlhamAliyev held a one-on-one meeting on the sideline of Heart of Asia – Istanbul Process conference here in Baku yesterday.
Azerbaijan’s President IlhamAliyev welcomed President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani.
During the meeting, both sides expressed satisfaction with the development of relations in various spheres and both sides also discussed importance of the 7th Heart of Asia – Istanbul Process Ministerial Conference, which was held in Baku. Azerbaijan president also highlighted the importance of the president Ghani’s visit to his country in terms of expanding relations. The two presidents also discussed the bilateral issues of mutual interest during the meeting.
President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani while praising Azerbaijan’s commitment and support to Afghanistan, thanked hic Azeri counterpart and his nation for hosting of the conference and supporting the peace and stability in Afghanistan.
