Kabul (BNA) Mohammad Alam Ezyedyar the deputy to Senate received a delegation of Ulema or religious scholars from Ghazni province yesterday.
In the meeting, according to the press office of Senate, the issue of Ghazni as capital of Islamic culture in 2013 and preparation in this regard came under discussion.
The delegation also said that articles have been collected to introduce the golden era of Ghaznavi dynasty, calling on senate to help publish the book and accelerate the rebuilding process of historical monuments.
For his part, senator Ezyedyar said that senate within its capacity would help in solving the problems, saying holding international conference on Ghazni as the capital of Islamic culture is a matter of pride for all Afghans.
