High Commission On Urban Development Holds Session

Kabul (BNA) A session of high commission for city expansion was held yesterday under the chairmanship of presidential senior advisor on reforms and good governance Ahmad Zia Massoud in Kabul.
In the session, first officials for Kabul municipality reported the session related to the municipality’s works, activities and working programs for the year 1395.
According to the municipality’s report, four canals with total length of 1149 m and width of 17 – 120 cm have been constructed in various areas of Kabul such as Qala-e-Ahmad Khan, Baraki, Salangwatt and Sarak-e-Millibus and construction of 211 km streams have been also completed during the current year.
Officials of Kabul municipality asserted that the municipality has collected more than 3567780635 AFG revenues, while a number of government institutions have still not paid their incomes from 2001 to 2015.
After hearing the report, presidential senior advisor asserted that for future face of Kabul city, it was necessary that Kabul municipality should share a coordinated and accepted view with Kabul residents in coming weeks.
Massoud instructed officials for Kabul municipality to consider all factors of a modern city for sketch and implementation of future face of Kabul city.
