Prayer Ceremony Held For Nasrullah Hafiz

Kabul (BNA) The prayer ceremony for Nasrullah Hafiz poet and cultural figure of Pashto Language was held by the Information and culture Ministry and the late family members in Kabul.
The ceremony was attended by Dr. Sayed Makhdoom Raheen Minister of Information and Culture, Farahi deputy minister, Jalal Nurani advisor and some head of departments of the ministry, some government officials, some members of scientific and academic foundations and relatives and friends of late Hafiz.
Hafiz was born in 1310 HS in Hafizan village of Chaparhar district of Nangarhar province; he took his primary education at his birthplace and in 1332 after completion of his education, started work at the Ministry of education as a teacher at the Khushhal Khan High School.
Hafiz for some times served as professional members of Weesa magazine and later as deputy editor of Pashtoon Zhagh.
He passed all his life at the Radio Afghanistan and he has written many literary works.
