Late Ustad Khalili’s Remains Buried

Kabul (BNA) The remains of late Ustad Khalilullah Khalili the famous poet of the country were laid to rest through a special ceremony within the Kabul University compound. 
The ceremony was attended by Abdul Rauf Ibrahimi, Speaker of House of People, Mohammad Alam Izedyar First Senate Secretary, some cabinet members, some members of National Assembly, chairman of the academy of science, Zalmai Heywadmal cultural advisor of presidential office, Kabul Mayor, cultural figures and scholars and friends of late Ustad. 
Dr. Sayed Makhdoom Raheen Minister of Information and culture and chairman of the commission for burial of the remains of Ustad Khalili talked on the personality of late Khalili and added that  today the sons of this homeland are paying homage to the remains of the famous poet of the country. 
He dwelt on different dimensions of life of this great poet and stressed that the ministry of information and culture in memory of this man of poem will organize a special ceremony at the hall of Radio-TV on coming Sunday”. 
Dr. Obaidullah Obeid minister of higher education said at the ceremony that late Ustad Khalilullah Khalili was of very high caliber poets of the contemporary Afghanistan who spent his life towards the path of freedom, independence, reflection of the pains and miseries of the Afghan nation during the invasion of the former Red Army and encouragement of the Mujahid nation against the biggest power of the world. 
Farouq Wardak minister of education said that representing the president of Afghanistan and the members of the burial commission I convey my sympathies to the dear nation of Afghanistan and the family of the unique poet of the country. 
He added that Ustad Khalili does not belong to a nation, specific tribe, but he was a poet got up from amongst the people and died among the people. 
Masoud Khalili son of late Khalili who is currently ambassador of Afghanistan in Spain thanked president Karzai, members of the cabinet and the Afghan nation for their expression of sympathy to the Khalili family members. 
The bouquets of flowers prepared by the ministries of information and culture, higher education, academy of sciences and other foundations were lay on late Khalili’s tomb. 
The remains of late Khalili has been transferred from Peshawar by his friends and fans on the basis of instruction of president Karzai. 
Ustad Khalili died while being refugees in Pakistan in 1366 in Pakistan.  Ustad Khalili was born in 1325 in a building on the side of Kabul River that once was called as the garden of Jahan Ara, the recreation center of Mughul Kings. 
His father was Mirza Hussain Khan from the Sayed Khail of Parwan province.
