KABUL (BNA) Two people were killed and 28 others, including a provincial health official, were wounded after a bomb explosion ripped in Ghani Khel district bazaar in Nangarhar on Monday, said BNA reporter.
The blast targeted the district hospital chairman vehicle, Hijrat Ullah, when he was crossing the Ghani Khel Bazaar, the official said, adding that he was wounded.
Two 2 people were killed and 28 others injured in the incident said Mawlavi Sadiqullah district governor to BNA.
Accept 5 people the rest of the victims of the explosion were local residents of the area, he added.
Medics at the Nangarhar central hospital called the condition of some of the injured individuals critical.
No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
Security officials said an investigation is underway to track down the perpetrators of the brutal attack.
