Kabul (BNA) The Senate with Fazal Hadi Muslimyar on the chair held session yesterday and approved the budget for the fiscal year 1392, press office of the house said.
It is also added that house after approval had forwarded to the House of People for further proceedings.
In the new national budget, 366 billion Afghanis have been allocated and of these 196 billion is common budget and 170 billion is development budget.
Meantime, the sources added that the senators during the session which attended by finance minister Omar Zakhilwal, had presented their objections and comments, priority must be given in essential national projects and balance in budget for provinces should be kept in mind.
Speaking on the occasion minister Zakhilwal said it is a balanced budget, adding that 18 million US dollars for Zabul, 38 million US dollars for Paktia, 52 million dollars for Ghazni and 19 million US dollars for Daikundi have been allocated.
