About 40 Insurgents Killed, Wounded In Herat

Herat (BNA) About 40 Taliban militants were killed and wounded in recent clashes by Afghan security forces in Fardowsi district, Herat province.
Col. Abdul Majid Rozi police chief of the province said BNA, following the clashes 13 armed oppositions were killed and more than 23 others were injured.
Col. Rozi promised for implementing of rewards and special advancements for security personnel those involved in operations via officials of Ministry of Interior urgently.
According to another report, in a military session decision was taken so all units of police personnel during Eid-al-Fitr have been state of alert to prevent from disturbing activities.
Herat security command ordered to all their units to prevent from selling of Patqy (toys of children) that caused concerns and harassment of people during Eid-al-Fitr days.
