Kabul (BNA) At least 42 armed oppositions were killed following clearing operations led by Afghan National Security Forces during the past 24 hours across the country.
Ministry of Interior press office told BNA, the operations conducted in various parts of Zabul, Kandahar, Nangarhar, Logar, Paktika, Khost, Kunduz, Balkh, Kapisa and Kunar provinces, in which 42 insurgents were killed, 32 injured and 4 other gunmen were arrested during the operations.
Some heavy and light weapons, ammunitions and war equipment have been seized following the operations by ANSF.
Likewise Afghan National Police (ANP) discovered and detonated several mines placed by enemies of Afghanistan for destructive and terrorist activities in relevant areas of Nimroz, Farah, Zabul and Kandahar provinces.
