Sheberghan (BNA) The Branch of UN was opened in Sheberghan city center of Jouzjan province yesterday.
This branch opened with displaying of UN flag by UN special envoy for Afghanistan Yan Kobeen.
According to BNA reporter, a function was held for this purpose, the UN special envoy for Afghanistan Yan Kobeen said, for better insuring peace in this province, the UN can implement their programs.
According to him, with opening of this branch, a new page will open from UN activities in Jouzjan province.
Also, Yan Kobeen visited responsible of Jouzjan province and discussed economic, political, social and military situation of that province.
