2,600kg of Narcotic Drug Set on Fire in Baghlan

Baghlan (BNA) Two thousand and six hundred kilograms of narcotics were set on fire in Baghlan yesterday.

In a newsletter sent to BNA, the Deputy Minister of Counter-Narcotics stated that Baghlan counter-narcotics police officers seized the drugs in several operations, including heroin, morphine, opium, hashish, and large amounts of chemicals and K Tablets was discovered and confiscated from drug traffickers and sellers in the province.

The governor, police chief, members of the provincial council and the head of the Baghlan military prosecutor’s office were present during the wasting of the drugs
