Shaberghan City (BNA) Heavy snowfalls and cold weather took the lives of 27 civilians in northern Jawzjan province within the next three days.
The victims that most of them are children lost their lives in Darzab district of the province.
Heavy snowfalls closed all transportation ways of Darzab district to main highway and other neighboring districts, which the residents of the district couldn’t transfer their patients to health clinics.
Also roof of a house collapsed due to heavy snowfalls in Darzab district, which wounded six people including a woman and two children.
Spokesman of Jawzjan provincial governor told, efforts has been started to reopen all transportation ways of the district to traffic.
