Technical Studies On Country’s Borders Kick Off

Kabul (BNA) Minister of borders and tribal affairs has considered role of local and tribal jirgas as effective for solution effective for solution of problems and strengthening of unity among tribes in the country, saying that negotiations with such Jirga’s and councils have increased.
Gulab Mangal, Minister of Border says during the coming three months, three big tribal Jirga’s are determined to be set up in three provinces of the country.
Delivering the ministry’s first 100-day working plan to journalists yesterday, Mangal said setting up local and tribal Jirga’s and coordination of such Jirga’s for bringing security and strengthening unity among tribes in the country was in his ministry’s top priorities, adding that currently they had talked to hundreds of local and tribal councils which have promised in this regard.
Minister of border further said that strengthening and expansion of cultural and economic relations between tribes on the other side of Durand Line was another part of the ministry’s working plan.
