Kabul (BNA) As many as 84 anti-government militias were killed and 24 others were injured following clearing operations conducted by Afghan National Army (ANA) within the last 24 hours across the country.
Ministry of National Defense press office by sending a statement reported BNA, the operations have been launched by support of Afghan Air and artillery forces to suppress armed oppositions and ensure security and stability in various parts of Nangarhar, Laghman, Ghazni, Logar, Kandahar, Urozgan, Zabul, Faryab, Baghlan, Takhar, Badakhshan, Nimroz and Helmand provinces.
Two top commanders of Taliban terrorist group are among the dead and 7 suspicious were arrested during the operations as well, the source added.
