JALALABAD (BNA) The intelligence security forces attacked the ISIS hideout location in Nangarhar, 3 fighters of the group were killed and 16 others were arrested, late Monday.
Security sources said women and teenage foreign citizens were among the detainees.
The operation was launched on the hide-out ISIS location in the Majbor Abad area in Jalalabad city.
A Nangarhar intelligence source told BNA, that 3 fighters of the ISIS group were killed, and 16 others including women and teenage foreign citizens were arrested in the operation,
The intelligence security forces sized several lights and heavy weapons including amounts of explosive materials, the source added.
According to the security, the identity of the arrested people is not clear, so far.
