Kabul (BNA) President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani delivered speech at Korber Research Foundation in Berlin the other day, BNA reported.
In the meeting attended by German parliamentarians and senior government officials, president Ghani spoke about terrorism common enemy, the modalities of war on terror, situation of Afghan refugees in Europe, peace process and the economic situation. The Taliban and their supporters attempted last year to create two political geographies in Afghanistan, but Afghan security forces had foiled the enemies’ designs the president said. President Ghani also noted that the economic projects that connect central Asia to South Asia through Afghanistan are ready for implementation. Majority of Afghans want to remain in Afghanistan and the government of Afghanistan along with its international partners have been doing their best to facilitate them job in the country, the president said. The president also said that Pakistan over the past 14 years and even some believe over the past 40 years is in a status of undeclared war with Afghanistan. The people of Afghanistan after Oxygen needs peace, the president said, adding, Afghans want honorable peace. Korber Research Foundation has been the host of great personalities in the past.
