Kabul (BNA) President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Mohammad Ashraf Ghani had a farewell meeting with Deputy Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General Mark Bowden the other day, his office said in a statement.
According to the statement, the meeting was held in the Presidential Palace, during which President Ghani appreciated Mr. Bowden of his efforts during his mission in Afghanistan. Mark Bowden expressed delight over his mission in Afghanistan and wished success to the Afghan Government in better serving its people, the statement added.
