Corona Cases Has Not Recorded In Afghanistan So Far /Commentary

Kabul (BNA) The rise in new coronavirus cases outside China, now constitutes a global health emergency, the World Health Organization’s Emergency Committee declared on Thursday, calling on all countries to take urgent measures to contain the respiratory disease.
BNA analyst commenting on the issue writes, coronavirus outbreak began in Wuhan, a city of around 11 million and so far, more than 300 people have died and over 14000 people have been infected. 
China’s new confirmed infections from the coronavirus outbreak increased by a daily record, up by 2,590 cases on Saturday to top 14,000, as the quickly growing epidemic prompted global travel restrictions and evacuations.
The death toll from the coronavirus outbreak in China had reached 304 as of the end of Saturday, state broadcaster CCTV said on Sunday, citing the country’s National Health Commission.
Coronavirus not only a social and health threat for people and government of China, but as a serious threat quickly growing in other world countries, so, World Health Organization (WHO) has declared a global health emergency last week.
The decision to sound the top-level alarm was made after the first confirmed cases of transmission between people outside China.
The international health alert is a call on countries around the world to coordinate their response under the guidance of the United Nations health agency.
For preventive and precautionary of the virus, Wear a facemask, Wash your hands and Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
But, in Afghanistan with less health services the precaution not enough and never prevent coronavirus.
Coronavirus cases reported in Iran, Pakistan, India and United Arabic Emirate, while Afghanistan exported dozens items from the mentioned countries, so transferred of virus to Afghanistan not impossible, particular in meats and eggs. 
Officials in the ministry of public health say that fortunately no case of the Coronavirus broken out in China and threatening people globally has been yet registered in Afghanistan.
The officials said Saturday that they were fully prepared to prevent the virus.
Medical team in Kabul International Airport said that all the 262 people who had come from China till Sunday were checked and no signs of the virus were found in them.
Meanwhile, people who have come from China, say that the virus was speedily spreading there, but they remain healthy.
Also, ministry of public health for precaution and preventive of coronavirus has established a committee that include 8 representatives from World Health Organization and senior officials of the ministry.
Meanwhile, ministry of public health with coordination of ministries of information and culture and hajj and religious and environmental protection authority launch an awareness program about coronavirus.
