Kabul (BNA) During the last 24 hours nine armed rebels were killed by security forces in different parts of the country.
Ministry of Interior press office spokesman told BNA, Afghan security forces launched several cleansing operations in relevant areas of Nangarhar, Kapisa, Kunduz and Zabul provinces, as a result of which nine insurgents were killed, four wounded and two others arrested.
Some heavy and light weapons, ammunitions and explosive materials have been seized in the operations.
According to another report, National police forces discovered and defused nine mines in Khost, Herat, Badghis and Helmand provinces.
