Over 80 Armed Oppositions Join Peace Process In Badghis

Qala-e-Naw City (BNA) More than 80 anti-government insurgents laid down their hand weapons and joined peace process in Jawand district, northwestern Badghis province.
Mohammad Anwar Ishaqzai governor of Badghis said BNA, the insurgents led by Mullah Yousuf were busy in destructive and terrorist activities in relevant areas of Jawand district, which with understanding truth knock of war and joined to government.
The joining militants have been submitted their hand weapons to government as well, the source added.
A joined insurgent promised to government that he trying to ensure peace and stability in the area.
