Kabul (BNA) Over 12 armed oppositions were killed and six more were wounded following Afghan national defense and security forces’ attack in southern Zabul province.
Press office of Attal army corps by releasing a statement issued, Taliban fighters have been gathered for organizing attacks on Afghan security forces’ checkpoints in Mezan and Atghar districts of Zabul province, but Afghan air forces have been targeted the gathering, in which 12 militants were killed and 6 others were wounded.
Several heavy and light weapons belonged to the terrorists have been seized by Afghan security forces, the statement added.
Taliban said nothing about the incident so far.
According to another report, Afghan national defense and security forces by discovering and neutralizing eight round of different type of mines succeeded to prevent several bloodiest incidents in crowded areas of Zabul province.
