Kabul (BNA) President Hamid Karzai met with Yan Kubiŝ the UN General Secretary Special Envoy the other day.
According to presidential press office to BNA, at the meeting Yan Kubiŝ informed President Karzai regarding the development of vote auditing process. President Karzai said that the status quo puts negative impacts on people’s normal life, economy and security and they don’t remain await more, adding the result of the election should be announced on its due time and laid emphasized that the result of elections should be proclaimed on its due time i.e. till the end of August. The US ambassador in Kabul was also present during this meeting.
