Kabul (BNA) President Hamid Karzai received US Senator, Carl Levin at the presidential palace, the presidential press office said yesterday. Both sides exchanged views on bilateral ties, Bilateral Security Agreement (BSA) between the two countries and some matters of regional interests.
President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan said his country want development of relations between the two countries and support the agreement in which Afghanistan’s interests were guaranteed.
Meanwhile, the US senator vowed that his country is willing to ensure a long term and strong relation with Afghanistan.
National Security advisor, Dr. Rangeen Dadfar Spanta and international relation advisor, Yahya Marufi had also attended the meeting.
