Kabul (BNA) At least 33 Taliban militants were killed, 12 wounded during a military operations conducted by Afghan security forces in northern and northeastern of the country.
Ministry of National Defense press office stated BNA, the mopping-up operations were launched to suppress Taliban rebels in insecure areas of Balkh, Kunduz, Baghlan, Jawzjan, Faryab and Sar-e-Pul provinces.
Several villages have been cleared from being of armed rebels in the provinces.
It has been said, some heavy and light weapons, ammunitions and war equipment have been discovered and seized during the operations.
