4 Tons of Outdate Foods Torched in Takhar

TAKHAR (BNA) local officials at the Takhar public health department said they torched 4 tons of outdated foods in the province on Saturday.

Mawlawi Asadullah Khalid, Takhar Director of Combating Serious Crimes and Administrative Corruption, told the BNA correspondent that the food had been collected within a week in cooperation with the Takhar Public Health Department, which was torched in the presence of representatives and officials of the Islamic Emirate.

The process of collecting outdated and substandard foodstuffs has begun in Takhar and efforts will be made to curb the sale of outdated and substandard foodstuffs, he added.
