LAGHMAN (BNA) The counter-narcotics department of Laghman say that 40 acres of poppy fields in Laghman were eradicated.
The provincial head of counter-narcotics department of Laghman, Qari Gholamullah Idris, told BNA that the poppies cultivated in 40 acres of land in Gadyali region of Dawlat Shah District of this province were completely eradicated.
The campaign to eradicate the poppy fields will continue throughout Laghman until this province is cleared of poppy cultivation, he added.
