Sar-e-Pul City (BNA) Hashimi Qurishi a senior commander of Taliban militants was arrested by local people in northern Sar-e-Pul province today.
A commander of National Army in Sar-e-Pul said BNA reporter, the senior commander of Taliban was arrested by local people in Balkhab district of the province and submitted to Afghan security forces.
Qurishi the notorious commander was arrested by local people, while he was involved in terrorist activities in the district, the source added.
Qurishi the senior commander of armed rebels has active role in most terrorist activities, bombing, armed attacks, kidnapping and shooting of passengers in Sar-e-Pul province, the source concluded.
