NUG Committed To Fight Corruption: Hekmat Karzai

Kabul (BNA) The National Unity Government (NUG) of Afghanistan if committed to bring reforms and fight corruption, this was staged by Hekmat Khalil Karzai the deputy on political affairs with the Foreign Ministry in the meeting of International contact Group (ICG) held in Abu Dhabi of UAE in Jan, 29, BNA reported.
Chaired by Afghanistan and Germany, the conference was attended by more than 46 countries and international agencies, Hekmat Karzai said that President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani during his visit to several countries including China, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) wants to develop friendly relations, enhance economic activities and change Afghanistan into transit route for developing economic activities in the region. Speaking at the conference the representatives of US, UK, Japan, Italy, Canada and several more countries as well as IMF announced their support to the achievements of the national unity government, besides calling for bringing reforms, fighting corruption, ensuring good governance, protecting human rights, boosting peace and stability as well as economic development in Afghanistan.
