Qalat (BNA) Afghan and coalition forces conducted operation in Zabul province last night, in which 4 armed Taliban insurgents were arrested.
Shadi Khan Governor of Shahr-i-Safa district of Zabul said to BNA, this operation conducted by Afghan and foreign forces in the south center of Shar-i-Safa district, and four armed Taliban insurgents were arrested.
According to him, the aim of this operation was to arrest a local Taliban commander Mullah Shokor. Still it is not clear that this person arrested or not, but ISAF press statement said that in this operation a commander of Taliban with his followers have been arrested.
