Kabul (BNA) Afghan security forces conducting joint operations in different parts of the country killed 44 armed insurgents yesterday.
Interior ministry press office reported BNA, the operations were carried out in Nangarhar, Sar-e-Pul, Kandahar, Uruzgan, Maidan-Wardak, Logar, Herat and Helmand provinces resulted killing 44 rebels, wounding 23 and arresting 5 others.
In the operations heavy and light weapons captured.
According to another report, National Police Forces while carrying their duties uncovered and neutralized 9 mines from Nangarahr, Takhar, Kunduz, Maidan Wardak, Logar and Paktika provinces.
