Jalalabad (BNA) two blasts was prevented in Nangarhar province.
The security forces discovered and defused two mines in crowded areas of Pecheragam and Chaparhar districts of the province.
Ataullah Khogyani spokesman for Nangarhar governor told BNA, the mines were discovered by security forces with cooperation of local residents and defused by technical team of national army forces.
According to him, the insurgents wanted to organize fatal events to civilians, but not succeeded to their evil goal.
Another report says that two mine planters were killed by security forces in Nangarhar province.
The mine planters were targeted by security forces while planting mines in Kot and Achen districts of that province.
