Kabul (BNA) Afghan sportsmen in Karate by getting four gold medals, two silver and two bronze got the second position in the first competitions of Asia-Europe championship.
According to Abdul Mahboob, a director of relations and information for national Olympic committee, the competitions which were held in Turkey from Nov 11 to Nov 13, Shuja Agha Hameedi, Farid Agha Durandish, Shir Mohammad Muradi and Wahid Ahmad Joya got the gold medals in the championship.
Meanwhile, Rahmatullah Subat, Navid Amiri got silver medals and Shahram Arifi and Abdul Rahim Takhari got the bronze medals.
