JALALABAD (BNA) Security officials in Nangarhar said 5 ISIS fighters were killed and two others arrested during an operation launched by Islamic Emirate forces, on Friday.
In a conflict launched against ISIS late on Friday, the Islamic Emirate forces killed 5 members of the group and arrested two others, said security intelligence to BNA in the province.
The Daesh militants had been building roadside mines in this hideout and were roughly attacked by the Islamic Emirate forces, said the source.
Dr. Bashir, head of Nangarhar Intelligence, told Bakhtar Agency that during the operation forces under his command, 5 members of ISIS were killed and two others were arrested.
Dr. Bashir called the dead wastes and said that they cannot disturb the peace of the citizens.
