Kabul (BNA) Minister of Interior Taj Mohammad Jahid met with US special envoy to Afghanistan and Pakistan here yesterday, BNA reported.
According to the agency, the US special envoy to Afghanistan and Pakistan praised Afghan National Police performance in providing security and counter-terrorism operations and expressed his country’s full support to Afghanistan National Security Forces, in particular to ANP.
Thanking US assistance to Afghanistan in the past years, in particular to Afghan National Police, Minister Jahid said that Afghan people giving daily sacrifices in war against terrorism, so that to bring a safe and sound environment to the region.
The US special envoy assured of his country’s support to Afghanistan and asked for further bolstering of ties between the two countries.
