Kabul (BNA) Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF) conducting clearing operation in Ghorak district of Kandahar province killed 15 militants and wounded a number of them.
Mohsen Sultani national army spokesman in the south of the country told BNA, during the operation several villages were cleared from being of armed Taliban, their few hideouts destroyed and 15 Taliban were also killed and scores of them wounded.
According to the report, ANSF after capturing each area established military bases for ensuring peace and calmness of civilians in the site.
He added, the operation is continuing until the complete cleansing of the area from presence of armed Taliban.
