Kandahar (BNA) Eighteen Taliban insurgents were killed in a security forces operation in Kandahar.
BNA quoted the Ministry of Defense as saying that the Taliban were killed in an operation by security and defense officials in the Khakriz district of Kandahar.
The source added that nine other insurgents were wounded in the operation and some of their weapons were seized
