500 Projects Supported by World Bank Remain Incomplete In Ghazni

GHAZNI (BNA) 500 comprehensive projects in this province, which were financially supported by the World Bank remain incomplete, according to the Rural Rehabilitation and Development department of Ghazni.

With the establishment of the Islamic Emirate in the country, 500 collective projects, including the construction of school buildings, water and electricity supply, and many other similar projects remain incomplete, said local officials of the province.

These projects, financially supported by the World Bank, adding that the residents of Ghazni want the World Bank to resume their incomplete projects, say officials.

According to officials, more than 90 percent of some of the projects have been completed and are ready for exploitation.

The Rural Rehabilitation and Development Department of Ghazni in their annual reports shared their accomplishments and problems with the public.
