Afghanistan Reports 141 Cases of COVID-19 in the Last 24 Hours

Afghanistan has recorded 141 new coronavirus infections in the last 24 hours, taking the country’s total cases to 50,677 on Sunday.

Officials in ministry of public health reported, with 20 new deaths in the last 24 hours, the toll has mounted to 2,074.

The total number of active cases of COVID-19 in the country stands at 9,455, as of Sunday.

The total discharged cases are at 39,158 with 359 new discharges in the last 24 hours.

It is mentionable that until now 180,385 samples of coronavirus has been tested in laboratories of the ministry across the country, the officials added.

COVID-19 global toll has increased to 76,340,684 and the deaths are reported to more than 1,686,590 according to John Hopkins’ global dashboard.
