PAROON (BNA): A devastating landslide in the Nurgaram district of Nuristan province has resulted in significant loss of life and property for local residents.
Mawlavi Sami-ul-Haq Haq Bayan, the head of Information and Culture in Nuristan province, informed BNA about the tragic event that occurred last night, leading to casualties and damages.
Preliminary reports indicate the destruction of 20 residential houses. Rescue teams have recovered the bodies of five individuals from the debris, and search efforts for others are currently underway.
