Kabul (BNA) President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani met Gen. Scott Miller, the Resolute Support Mission’s Commander here in his office on Monday, BNA reported.
RS Commander praised increasing combat capabilities of the Afghan National Defense and Security Forces (ANDSF) and called their recent anti-terror operations and suppressing of the enemies as the great success. Gen. Miller called better coordination among the ANDSF as their main success in recent operations and shared his report of evaluation of the security and defense organs with the President. According to Miller, Afghan forces have defeated the enemies and could regain most of the territories and have targeted their key commanders. Thanking RS continued cooperation with Afghan forces, President Ghani said coordination among ANDSF have improved unprecedented and called it as the main reason behind their recent victories. Afghan forces are in front line of war on terror and therefore, international community’s support and cooperation essential to them, the President added.
