Kabul (BNA) President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani met the ambassadors of European, North American countries and regional nations here in Arg yesterday, BNA reported.
In the outset of the meeting, the president thanked all the countries for sending condolence messages and expressing sympathy with Afghans over recent terrorist attacks which claimed scores of lives in the country.
Briefing the diplomats on recent terrorist attacks especially the deadly truck bomb in Shah Shahid locality, the president said that after the confirmation of the death of Mullah Mohammad Omar in Pakistan the terrorist groups by organizing public gathering in Pakistani soil announced to continue war against Afghanistan government. Afghanistan is hopeful that Pakistani government to take practical steps against terrorist groups inside its soil, adding an Afghan delegation would be visiting Pakistan next Thursday to talks with Pakistani officials on the subject. President Ghani said that he has already clarified his stance to Pakistani officials and Islamabad’s decision in this regard would determine bilateral relations between the two countries within the next few weeks.
