Construction Work of Trinkot-Kandahar Highway Resumed

Kandahar (BNA) Construction and Asphalting of Trinkot-Kandahar highway resumed yesterday.
This highway is twenty-four kilometers long and ten meters wide and connects the city of Tirinkot to Kandahar.
Construction and asphalting of the road had been halted several times due to increased insecurity.
The Ministry of Public Works says in a newsletter that the construction of this road will take a year.
In the project of construction and asphalting of this road, tens of large and small bridges and prestige have been considered.
Experts say construction of the road will boost agriculture and make it easier for thousands of citizens in southern Afghanistan.
