Kabul (BNA) The praying ceremony to commemorate the late Shaheed Farkhunda was held in Kabul and provinces yesterday.
In a ceremony held in Eidgah Mosque, people from all walks of life including civil and military officials attended and prayed for the departed soul. Farkhunda 27 was brutally murdered by a mob of ignorant in Kabul on March 19 on charge of burning copies of Quran. In a Quran recitation and praying ceremony held in the Arg Mosque, attended among others by family members of the late Farkhunda, President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, Chief Executive Dr. Abdullah Abdullah and former President Hamid Karzai and lawmakers.
