Kabul (BNA) To honor the holy month of Ramadan and revelation of Holy Quran a recitation session of Holy Quran was organized at the Ministry of Information and Culture Thursday evening.
Following recitation of Holy Quran that took place by the participants, Dr. Sayed Makhdoom Raheen, Minister of Information and Culture talked on the virtue of the holy month of Ramadan and said that this month is far better than any other months indeed.
He added that during the Qader night (the Holiest Night of
Ramadan) that happens during the month, all the living beings, once again pay homage and respect to the Almighty Allah.
He expressed the hope that the prayers and worshipping of pious people during this month is accepted by Allah Almighty and our nation succeed to follow up the path of Allah, the path of righteousness, sacrifices and steadfastness.
The function ended after taking of Iftar (breaking the fast in the evening) by the participants.
